One of my mentors is collecting donations to send to Haiti to the Barbara Ketover School, a place where children and young people can come and learn about public health, disease prevention, their changing bodies, safety and more. People are learning, playing, dancing, singing and soccer! This school was opened in her mothers name to honor her legacy. I would like to collect 10 care bags and pick ups by Saturday to add to the container. Jean Magloire, the founder and Director of CHAPO, in Boston now from Haiti, is shipping a container soon. Here’s the latest list of Needed Stuff:• Clean Summer Clothes, Shoes & Sneakers in good shape• Any over the counter medication (including advil, Tylenol, etc)• Toiletries (soap, toothpaste, lotion)• Vitamins• WOOD, nails, tools – building materials• Small Electronics – working or broken –Jean says people are teaching others how to fi x it• Cell phone working or broken with working SIM cards• A laptop, PLEASE – anyone??
