One of my most generous mentors in the dance world has moved on to whatever comes next. Nana Shineflug, from the first day I met you, you invited me to open my mind, heart, ears, eyes and soul to ideas, movements, sounds and shapes Id never encountered before, and Im forever changed and the better for it. Thank you for always welcoming me into your art and your world. Im hoping wherever you are now, youre being welcomed just as warmly. Ill miss you.
