One of my professors once told the class ..Be careful not to let preaching become an idol. I admonish my fellow preachers likewise. Dont forget WHY you do it. Its not about money, popularity, travel , ego etc . Its about JESUS. Its not a profession, not an occupation , nor is it a hobby.. Its a consecrated / holy calling.. Where ones lifestyle should set the standard of living before he/she opens their mouths to preach .. Anything else is uncivilized. (2 Corinthians 4:5)
