One of my spiritual nieces called me a professional student. At first, I was stuck but there was a truth to it. After getting my associates, it would take almost 13 years to finish my Bachelor’s Degree. I spent those 13 years, drugging, partying, moving, etc., you name it, I did it. I won’t say I wasted time b/c that time was necessary. However, now, I am fascinated with how life shows up and how we deal with how it shows up. I trained as a life, spiritual and relationship coach b/c I wanted to learn methods to empower others that were not readily available to me when I was going through. I took Communications and culture to understand how society affects how we speak to each other and ourselves. I am studying Divinity now to learn religion, theology and our beliefs of the Divine in addition to that which is connected to those things, and how those things influence who we are and how we treat others. Just those things alone have changed my perspective on how I see the world. Coupled with my life experiences, it leaves me NO place for judgment which is why I tell people you can tell me where the body is…I might have to convince you to turn yourself in but you can tell me LOL But seriously, now I am working to complete my Mindfulness Instructor Training with a few months left b/c it was important for me to understand methods of which to be still and to hear what is needed; and my master coaching certification to gather more skills on working with groups and other dynamics. It all ties in. So yes my next 3 -4 months are busy with a sprinkle of summer courses here and there. Needless to say… It may seem like a lot and it is but I did not share it with you to brag. I shared it with you for those that are looking to find their way in life. I say to you, Find what you love to do…follow that and just let it take you. I will be 39 in September and I have accepted and realized that what I love to do is to see people be empowered whether it is with me as a vessel or not. There is nothing like seeing someone break free of something that held them or for them to obtain a new level in their life. Now yes, it has and will cost me probably Millions of Dollars (j/k sort of…) but nothing warms my heart and spirit more than learning something else to help others (and myself.) Don’t give up or make your timeline this static expectation. Sometimes you may even have to do what you don’t want to be able to do what you desire. Never give up hope. It is written that your gifts will make room for you. I believe that…and I believe that for you. I need you to believe it for yourself. There is someone right now that is reading this that was ready to throw it all in and asked for a sign. Here it is… Go forth…
