One of our drivers, Louis Nelsen, Jr., will appear on the Today - TopicsExpress

One of our drivers, Louis Nelsen, Jr., will appear on the Today Show Tuesday, June 3, 2014, sometime between 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. The approximate 5 minute piece will feature a story on Louis and his family giving back to those in need. Prior to joining Hirschbach, Louis’s family was left homeless on January 19, 2014, in Hollister, MO, after the place they were staying at kicked them out. A local church provided temporary housing for a few days until they could make arrangements. A local charity/thrift store “Selfless Blessings” helped provide clothing and essentials in their time of need. Once Louis got back on his feet, he has been paying it forward by donating money and items to Selfless Blessings. Somehow the Manager of the store has a connection to an NBC Today Producer and they are doing a story about the Nelsen family going from being homeless to back on their feet, Louis buying his own truck through Hirschbach, and giving back to the charity, Selfless Blessings. Louis spoke well of Hirschbach and is very happy with his Driver Manager, Joe Robinson. He said they have a nice shot of his Hirschbach truck when filming the piece.
