One of our fans asked a very interesting question regarding one of our old games: “What is your favourite part of Empire Bay?” We decided to go around the studio and ask some of our employees for their fondest memories. Here’s the result. Hope you like it, James Mir: “I really like the center of the city — Midtown. Especially the part with the red church, it feels like New York meets Brno!” Vit, Lead Artist “I love the city as a whole —its size and diversity. I love how detailed it is and I truly enjoyed driving through it, while listening to one of the awesome songs of the era.” Martin, Development Manager. “The horizon seen from one of the bridges; it is breathtaking!” Remi, Designer. “Little Italy, I guess. It’s the most polished area of the game. It felt vibrant, alive and quite authentic.” Ian, QA. “The Hillbrook and the Observatory, I spent hours of my life in there; totally worth it!” Alex, Designer. “The route to the mother’s flat during the 2nd mission. There’s so much going on around you, at that time. It’s amazing.” Jarek, Producer “Greenfield. I liked the calming and refreshing feel of it. I also liked it because I lived there for a while, as Vito. ;)” Lenka, Programmer. “First, it was Downtown. It was so huge and I was so little. Looking at the skyscrapers, gave me a sense of purpose — I wanted to own it all! The second one was the Docks, seeing where Vito’s father spent his whole life really made me connect with him.” Remy, Designer/Scripter.
