One of our first rescues from Pine Ridge was adopted tonight. Trailer has been with us since he was a six week old puppy. He has had some bumps along the way including a mange scare & tummy issues...and he has watched all of the puppies go before him. However, we knew that perfect person was out there for him and we were willing to hold onto him to make it work. Rachel drove 7 1/2 hours one way to get him and we couldnt be more excited about this adoption. Trailer will be trained as a therapy dog and will get to go with his new mom to work, where she is a wilderness camp director. How could we hope for more for this once tossed aside, neglected pup? Congrats Trailer and thank-you Rachel. Prayers for a safe trip home!
