One of our most popular dogs in care was Henry. We received many enquiries for this gorgeous little dog. He was fostered by Tina and Edwin from The Sophisticated Pet and spent time recuperating with them after earlier being hit by a car, fracturing his pelvis, and ending up at the pound. Needless to say, we received numerous enquiries for Henry when we advertised him and we have disappointed many people in the process, but there is only one Henry unfortunately. Henry now enjoys sharing his home and his new life with Natasha and Dean, and their other dogs. Its only early days, but heres a few happy snaps of Henry in his home. Henry is doing really well thanks. He is having a ball with our 3 year old male dog Cooper and they are bonding, playing with squeaky toys together and kissing each other a lot. He is absolutely loving sleeping on the bed with us and is just such an affectionate little man! He just loooooves cuddles. Our 7 year old female Chihuahua, Prudance, is still a little aloof with him but she’s always like that with any visiting dogs or new dogs (she was like that when Cooper first arrived as a puppy and now they’re the best of mates). She doesn’t show any animosity toward Henry, but is just a bit standoffish. We think she has an air of self importance about her and she thinks she’s better than any other dog in the universe! This is why we call her “Princess Prudancia”. Ha ha ha….we have to remind her what side of the tracks she also came from and that she wasn’t born into royalty so she should be sympathetic towards Henry’s background. Ha ha ha….Prudance is our other rescue doggie. We adopted her when she was about the same age as Henry is now. She’s a gorgeous little girl but just takes a while to warm up to new additions. I’ve seen her wagging her tail at him though so I know it’s all fine. We’ve starting teaching him some commands already. He seemed to know the sit command already which is good (especially at meal times) but he’s so keen to please so we know we can move on to the next command soon. So, all is going really well! I have attached a few photos for you. He looks gorgeous in these. Cheers, Natasha
