One of our officers told this story earlier and we convinced him to share it publicly: I was involved in a pursuit (yesterday) and quickly lost sight of the suspect as he was on a motorcycle. Within seconds of me losing sight of him, citizens were pointing out where he had gone and were calling dispatch to advise where he was running. Thanks to the citizens help, my brothers, sisters, and I were able to catch him hiding. A citizen walked up to me afterwards and said this is OUR neighborhood and we appreciate what you officers do. That was much appreciated thanks from a citizen. It was also nice to hear those sirens coming to help me when I found the bad guy. I work for the best police department because I work with the best police officers. Another good day!
