One of our organisers has written a statement to our Premier in regards to the state governments support of income management for all welfare recipients in SA, March Australia SA branch will not support these policies, the statement is as follows: Mr Jay Weatherill, Dear Premier, as a well known activist in this state I am writing to express my absolute disgust of your supportive stance towards mining magnate Andrew Forrests welfare reforms, I am in absolute disbelief and shock that the Labor party would support such a draconian and far right ideology, I am also going to make it clear that the activist community in conjunction with march Australia SA branch will stand with the people and will not tolerate the control, slavery or other non libertarian neoliberal policies being forced upon us. You were elected to represent the people, these policies do not represent us.
