One of our page members has sent us all a query: Hi, Id be very grateful if you could post the following: Advice would be much appreciated. Im on maternity leave since 4th April and due to return 6th October- all my Easter and summer holidays were incorporated into the 26 weeks and therefore in essence I got nothing in lieu of holidays. Does anyone know if Unions are doing anything about the loss of holiday time etc? As teachers we are now being discriminated against in this regard as other public servants such as nurses receive 26 weeks plus holiday entitlements for year and bank holidays. I did contact union prior to commencing leave and. Was informed there was a case pending regarding the above but Ive heard nothing since. Anyone know of any progress on this issue? Thanking you
