In many ways, its more like an investment in Californias future. And from a state budget perspective, there isnt much of a return since Alaska has no statewide income, sales or property taxes. Instead, its more like a subsidy to the recipients. Not arguing ed funding is bad, but need to address the real issues, not just more fluff about kids, not cuts. ow.ly/HbWqN
