One of the LP Underground members who attended tonights listening party posted an awesome review of THE HUNTING PARTY on LPU tonight. Check it out: ------ Tonight, I was honored to be among fifteen or twenty other awesome Linkin Park fans and get a sneak peak listen of The Hunting Party. You guys, this album ROCKS. The album opener Keys to the Kingdom blew my mind. Chesters vocals are classic Linkin Park and a marvel. The screaming is epic. (How does he do it?!) Our group asked Adam to play this one again because we loved it so much. Two other favorites among the group were War and album ender A Line in the Sand. One of my favorite moments of the entire album comes on War when there is this extra pause in the song before Chester rips into the chorus and aurally rips us a new one in the best possible way. lol. War is sure to be a crowd pleaser during the shows this summer. Sand is an impressive end to the album. Just when you think the song finishes and the album is over, there is more. A few people mentioned getting goosebumps at different points throughout the album. Mikes rhymes are on point. Robs drumming is killer (its going to be rad to see him play these tracks live), and the overall sound from Brad, Phoenix, and Mr. Hahn is RAW and full of energy. Until Its Gone seems to be the quietest track on the album, so get ready to bleed it out and experience some authentic, passionate rock and roll this summer. The rock album soundtrack for this summer (and beyond) for sure. As the album played on, I could only smile and think how awesome its going to be to see LP play these songs in concert. The Carnivores tour is going to kick a$$. Im flying up to Sacramento to see the show with some friends up there, but now Im going to have to buy a ticket for the Hollywood Bowl show.
