One of the bad things about living in older homes is that things happen. Generally those are not good things and today the ceiling in the kitchen decided that it would be happier joining the floor. Seems a strange design feature of this 1953 castle has the heater and AC blower in the attic. Old AC, condensation, plugged drain hose, and gravity all came together in a wonderful conjunction of DISASTER. Cleaned up the mess covered the hole with a tarp, called someone to look at what was needed for repairs, and cleaned up the mess. Guys came to assess damage, pulled down tarp, I got to clean up everything again and put the tarp back up. Oh and I got a Viking Epic Egret in ruby!
