I have had a great time . No doubt the college has so much to offer in all these years that you barely see yourself not preoccupied with some work or the other. If almighty, for a second, forgot what I have become and granted me a little bit more of the time in here, I would use it to the best of my ability. I wouldnt possibly say everything that is in my mind, but I would be more thoughtful of all I say. This was certainly not the perfect choice, rather there wasnt any choice at the first place, You come here by the sheer slip of fate . I mean how would a 20k rank in UPTU help you in getting NIT? And So, MIET is what you get. You go gaga initially but by the end of the first year, You know its a roller coaster ride for the years to come. Not going much into the experience, I would go on confessing ! We all shall move in a few days, five months to be precise. And lest I should not be able to write you again like this on MIET confession Box. I feel impelled to write a few lines that may fall under your eye when the admin posts it. My Roomies, Friends , Batch Mates, Juniors, my love and respect for you all is deathless, it seems to bind me with mighty cables that nothing but omnipotence can break. The memory of all the blissful moments I have enjoyed with you come crowding over me, and I feel most deeply grateful to God and you, that I have enjoyed them for so long. And how hard it is for me to give them up and burn to ashes the hopes and future years, when, God willing, we might still have lived and loved together. Those Wonderful People in college, You have given me a life suffused with love, support and friendship. I have been lucky enough to see eye to eye with you all, and look up to you at the same time. Yes, I get inspired by one and all no matter even if thats a junior! Forgive my many faults, and the many pains I have caused you. How thoughtless, how foolish I have sometimes been!… I have experienced so much with you all, I have learned that everybody wants to live on top of the mountain, without knowing that true happiness is obtained in the journey taken and the form used to reach the top of the hill. Just like a new born baby who clutches at the fingers of his dad, gets trapped with him for the rest of his life, I feel the same and I am hopeful we will all be glued like the best of friends. I have learned that a man has the right and obligation to look down at another man, only when that man needs help to get up from the ground. I am really thankful to the seniors who have helped me in all these years. For those reading this , some who are too busy mocking , Do retrospect your relationships and keep your loved ones near you; tell them in their ears and to their faces how much you need them and love them. Trust me they will acknowledge . Love them and treat them well. Take your time to tell them “I am sorry”; “forgive me”, “please”, “thank you”, and all those loving words you know. Life will get beautiful. Flattery does the trick , If you find something worth complimenting, Dont hesitate. Go on. Do anything that makes you happy. Be a deshbhakt, Have an eternal crush on somebody(Mahi :P), play your favourite sport and what not. Enjoy your remaining time in MIET. Have Fun and all the best for Exams ! Lol..
