One of the best horror writers out there, a master of the unease, - TopicsExpress

One of the best horror writers out there, a master of the unease, Ciprian Mitoceanu brings us a dark collection of shadows and terrors, delivering the chills for the nights to come. The translator, Mircea Pricăjan, probably best known for his Stephen King translations, is also a remarkable horror writer, if we are to remember only his Thick Shade Of Reality novel, and the bookcover is artwork by Catalina Fometici a.k.a. Mirage Cat herself - yes, of course, she also a quite fine horror/dark fantasy writer (and illustrator). Poe was no Romanian... but he was a strong influence for our literary ancestors (Eminescu and Caragiale, to name only two of them), and we are still here, preserving the legacy.
