One of the best parts about being situated at a high elevation is that we get to test out all the cool toys first! This week, were testing the new Prinoth Leitwolf Winch T4i snowcat. A-Basin is the first place in North America that this model has touched snow. This particular snowcat will eventually head over the pass to Vail and Beaver Creek to build the course for the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. In addition to awesome grooming performance, it also has a really comfy drivers seat and three cup holders (hey, we get excited about the little things sometimes...). Oh, PS - the skiing was great today!
