One of the best things I get to do as AKI director is to send out disbursements to our partner organizations. I send them out 3x a year, the 3rd time, is in December---now. As part of the process, I get to hear what our partner organizations are planning to do with our funds. Last time around, AKI $$ built a cat quarantine facility for Lilongwe SPCA, paid for Tanzania Animal Welfare Societys donkey welfare clinics over a 10 day period, paid for a Ghana SPCA field trip for 70 students who graduated from the GSPCA humane ed programme, paid for 21 dogs and 3 cats to be s/nd in Namibia and for shelter repairs for the Tsumeb SPCA cattery, covered repair of the Save the Animals-Armenia shelter roof (all pictured), and (not pictured): helped Helping Hands for Hounds of Honduras, Kingston Community Animal Welfare, Uganda SPCA, Foundation Henk Abrahams-Suriname, and Stray Dogs Bosnia cover their priority needs.
