One of the best weekends Ive ever had was shooting Fins minicamp practices for Coach Shula in 1990. Jim Simmons and I had befriended Dave Hack, Miami Dolphins Director of Video Production (and a GREAT guy who retired a few years ago. Hes the only guy who was in attendance for every one of Marinos TD passes). I called Dave to tell him that Id be flying down for minicamp and the teams annual awards banquest and Dave tells me that his assistant (this guy named Will, another great guy) would be out of town to attend a family wedding and wanted to know if Id shoot practices with him. Id just graduated college with a degree in Communications - Radio & TV concentration - so I was ecstatic. I shot morning and afternoon practices and ate at the team lunch for 3 days. This photo was from that weekend and it was really what drive me to make my video production career a sports production career.
