One of the biggest adventures of my life was recording Ember, my first ever three-song EP of original songs. I was going to wait until my website and photos were complete to release it, but then half a dozen people asked me to email them the album yesterday and today, which I took as a sign that the time is now. Even though I spent a decade in the music industry and supported the production of other peoples albums, I had never experienced the transformational fire that is the recording studio until I set out to make this EP. I have never in my life appreciated recorded music more than I do now. The songs were recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by the incredible Chris James, to whom I am infinitely grateful, because this would not exist without his generous support. His love, the incomparable songstress Adey Bell, sang the angelic backing vocals. The artwork was custom painted by the amazing Visionary Artist, Kuba Ambrose, who truly put his heart into creating the perfect visual accompaniment to the music. What an amazing artist and human he is. Many, many thanks to the magically inspiring Ali Kane, who is the sole reason I began to write music and sing again. And finally, I offer a heartfelt thank you to Ben Hart, the muse who evoked these three songs by constantly asking me to sing for him when I first started to write music again, and by being my love.
