One of the challenges of uprooting yourself and moving to a place where you know (virtually) no one, or at least not anyone particularly well, is that you dont really have a social circle. People have the folks they know, or have known, for a while. You arent quite thought of as being someone to invite along or meet up with. I understand the reasoning. We go to what we know. Add to that the fact that I work a LOT and you get a perfect storm. So this is my call to you, Portlanders. Im an interesting companion. :) Invite me along to things. Indoor things, outdoor things, whatever. I may have to say no sometimes, with work, but Im diligently working my schedule to have more free time. You may not know me well, or as anything more than a FB friend, but we can change that very quickly. :) My summer plan is REQUISITE on stuff to do :) So Im counting on you!
