One of the darkest legacys of the Harper government (and all other levels of governments and law enforcement organizations). It was a colossal waste of taxpayers money (far worse than the gas plant closures). I was livid, living in the Bloor West Village neighbourhood, watching our beautiful, peaceful city turned into a police state. The nightmare of the G20 is etched on my brain - the worst days I ever witnessed in the three decades of living in Hogtown. :( At election time in 2015 this is one of many reason why the Conservatives days are numbered. Lest we forget...
