One of the deer, thin and limping seems to be afraid of the feeder at first. It must look quite different during the day, since the deer mainly come over to eat when it is dark out.But after watching several of them eat, I really noticed that sunflower seeds are much more preferred than corn. A quick research on that subject says that sunflower-seed oil has more calories, and nutrients than just plain corn.Ill be adding a couple cans of sunflower seeds to the feeder along with the corn from now on.
