One of the downsides of moving house is all the admin you have to deal with. After 4 weeks of waiting, Sky turned up today and installed my TV. To be honest, I hadnt missed it that much. I managed to catch things like the grand prix on my laptop so it wasnt that bad, but today I realised something. As I sat down for lunch I put the tennis at Roland Garros on and it was in HD. What a difference. Actually it was no better than in my previous flat but going from watching my laptop to a big HD TV really highlighted the difference. The fact is we dont often notice differences until they are put side by side and can be compared. This is especially true of small changes. Unlike being able to go from a laptop to HD TV, your progress will be a lot slower and the changes more subtle; therefore, to keep a positive mindset, it is important how you monitor your progress. Aesthetic changes wont happen over night so dont wake up every morning expecting some sort of radical transformation. Photos every 2 weeks is usually fine, you could even go to once a month if you wanted. By all means pay attention to how you feel daily but leave it at that. It is the culmination of daily progress that youll notice, not the daily progress itself. Stay Kommitted, be consistent, look awesome.
