One of the employees just messaged, it reads...........It is amazing the support that so many are giving. The picture that has been painted by the media and others does not do justice for those of us who have put our sweat and tears into the facility and to the Residents with whom we love. It is a testament to the Staff, who have loved those Residents and have cared for those Residents, that they are voicing how they dont want the facility to close and dont want to leave their home because that is what Carlton Manor is to the Residents and to us who have put so much into it. We have always been a place where those who were never accepted could be accepted and those who never had family involvement could feel loved and now the Residents are voicing how our love has changed them to the point of speaking out. All of you should feel proud that your love for those Residents has changed their lives forever. No one can take that from us, not State, not CMS, no one!!!!!!!
