One of the first doctrines of Christianity that I learned was the truth that God is a trinity. The idea of the trinity is the doctrine that God is one and yet exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As I grew older, I learned that there are many practical evidences that the universe that we all live in was indeed created by a triune God. For example, the Bible says that God made man in His image so it would make sense that man would also be a trinity. We’re made up of a body, a soul, and a spirit. Then it’s interesting when you look at the makeup of time itself. It’s made up of the past, present, and future. All colors in nature are made of only three primary colors: red, yellow, and blue. All the colors of the spectrum come from just those three. The analogy begins to break down a little here, but when you start studying the various elements in chemistry, you learn that many of them are made up of three parts. For instance, water, or H2O, is a chemical compound with one oxygen atom and two hydrogen atoms. Carbon dioxide, or CO2, is a chemical compound composed of two oxygen atoms and one carbon atom. The more you study the universe, the more it appears that the artist may have left His signature on His work.
