One of the first times I remember vividly seeing Bro. French and - TopicsExpress

One of the first times I remember vividly seeing Bro. French and Ann was when they walked into the cafeteria (faculty (my dad and the Frenchs were faculty) ate on the right side of the cafeteria back then - there was not enough money in the salary for FOOD outside of the cafeteria) and they were pushing their new daughter Christie in the stroller - just beaming! We were so pleased for them that she had arrived to their home! She was an adorable little blonde (as I remember) charmer! I never had Bro. French as a teacher since I was in high school when I was there, but Ann French was my piano teacher - and remained calm, sweet and gentle, through it all (and Im sure I was a hard student). I have NEVER seen or heard anything out of Bro. or Sis. French that was not Christ like! My late sister, Sandi, loved Bro. French. She trusted few men - but Bro. French was one she always had to seek out and say hi to, on her rare visits to Hobe Sound. He reached something inside her that few others could reach. She recognized in him a TRUE man of God, and one who was truly interested in her as a person. I will never forget his kindness to her. Hobe Sound will not be the same without Bro. French there. His voice, always so distinctive to me, is now rejoicing in Heaven - where he has waited to go - he is finally HOME.
