One of the great reasons I truly honored and excited about becoming a member of the honor society Ptk and also am a member of the International Scholar Laureate as well, am glad God directed me and my daughter to Stephens College in Columbia, MO, an all girls privately strong women produced 4 year institution, is because of the history of the college. When I became a honor student in college and was asked to become a member of the honor society, I so became excited and you see, Stephens College use to be a 2 year college and this is where Phi Theta Kappa began and the history is incredible!!! When God puts you through things, you may not understand them then, but eventually along your journey you will surely begin to understand that He knows what He knows before we even know or an even begin to understand, but only and after only have you completed will you fully understand and then that is where the testimony begins! https://ptk.org/about/history P.S. My daughter when she graduated was on the Deans List, like her mommy, Mortar Board, Summa Cume Laude, etc. and probably did not spell these right but you get the gist, LIKE MOTHER LIKE DAUGHTER and will kill for that young lady!!
