One of the great things about being with relatives is the stories (thats actually one of the great things about life in general) from different points of view. In September 1979 I took my nephew Jesse to see the Clash at the Palladium on 14th St. I was 26, he was 13. I was paying forward something my brother Peter had done for John and I by taking us to the Anderson theater in 1968 to see Country Joe and the Fish, the Kweskin Jug Band and Soft White Underbelly (later Blue Oyster Cult). This past Christmas Jesse told us how he thought the plan was to go disco rolling skating (he was staying with my Mom) and when we got outside the house it was no change in plans were going to see the Clash. https://youtube/watch?v=Yk_7zMKQOGs
