One of the highly respected members of the Pima County Elections - TopicsExpress

One of the highly respected members of the Pima County Elections Integrity Commission has resigned after Supervisors Carroll, Valadez, Elias and Bronson voted against the commissions strong recommendations to purchase new precinct scanners and to conduct an early ballot hand count audit by precinct. Yesterday, those same Supervisors approved the final purchase ($8.3 million) of 270 acres of land for preservation. Only a portion of the purchase price is being used with leftover bond funds which means the debt added to Pima County + the debt from the purchase of land for soccer fields = $13.6 million. Keep in mind-they added more debt and said they couldnt afford less than $1 million in equipment to ensure our elections are transparent and verifiable arizonadailyindependent/2014/08/19/pima-county-elections-integrity-commissioner-resigns-administrator-refuses-reform/
