One of the, if not the main, reasons I continue to work in ER and commute to school in Kalamazoo is that I get to work with and be apart of the lives of patients like my main man, Luke here. He can bring a smile to my face without even trying and when he talks about how much fun he has coming to see me and to play games all while his mom says his eyes and fine motor functions are getting better with each day. I cant wait to graduate and hopefully teach at WMU someday but kids like this make me ok with the fact that it will be two more years.
