One of the inspiring things about Martin Luther is that in spite of the fact that he was the foremost intellectual of the Roman church...In spite of him being Doctor of Bible at Wittenberg, Luther was a real-live human being that loved people and wanted to serve them. Sometimes, this would expose him and his own sin and failure (that those who oppose him love to point out), but that didnt bother him as much as it bothered him that if he did not tell people, that they would never meet the true Christ or understand the true word of God.
