One of the major issues with Britain and more specifically England is that were absolutely poor when it comes to handling the cold and the snow! The whole country comes to a standstill. There are increases in road accidents, the amount of elderly who suffer and die because they simply cant afford to heat their homes is extremely upsetting. If it does get like this, as Muslims, we need to be conscious of our duties as up standing members of the community and do our bit in assisting our neighbours in clearing snow from their doorsteps and making the roads safer for everyday use so people can get around more easily. We should help those that become housebound and we should raise money so that non of our vulnerable elderly neighbours have to suffer in the cold!
