One of the many GREAT matches..that I had the pleasure of witnessing as a United fan. I remember it like it was yesterday. I had played football in the afternoon for my 6th form College. .We had a good team...n just beat Xaverian College 3-1...First team they had been beaten in 3 yrs...I got booked by the ref for Blaspheming not sure if thats a bookable offence but they were stauch Catholics...so I wont appeal.. Anyway United were two nowt down against a class Barca side...Arent they always ? Zubizerratta in net Diego Maradona n Bernd Schuster in their team.. Maradona was at the peak of his powers...he was the Worlds best n he froze....Because he went on to say I have never felt as intimidated as I did at Old Trafford Priceless memories n Stapletonnnnn ( in the words of commentary I have watched over n over again) scored the winner...n what made it better the same season...David Pleat did his Dance...Which was Nice...
