One of the many comments of one of Big eared Tonys campaign posts, funny the majority of comments were similar to this. If 80% of Australians believe in anthropogenic climate change (Tony Abbotts figures) and experts in the fields of economics and the environment both agree that the Direct Action plan would have a very minimal effect on our green house gas emissions, why not keep it? Transform it into an ETS if needs be. Scrapping a world leading economic/environmental device purely because it does not fit the government of the days ideology makes Australia look pretty average.
