One of the many things that I like to do on my way to the university is to listen to Ustadh Nouman Ali Khans lecture.. Apparently its my new playlist. (Along with Raefs new album :P) So today, I was listening to an explanation of this ayat. If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor] (Ibrahim: 7) This verse here made my day. Why?? Bcos the Tafseer of this part of the ayat is saying, if only you be grateful ONCE, Allah will shower you with CONTINUOUS favour, one after another. Just once~ And grateful to Allah is not restricted to just thanking Allah, because part of thanking Allah is to thank the people that gives you good favour. Be grateful to your teacher, your friends, your spouse, your parents and the list goes on. Being grateful too, affects you psychologically. Because it will make you count the blessings rather than being stressful of what you never had or have. Hope we start our day fresh. Today, and tomorrow onwards~ :D
