One of the men around late 30s who came to the medical clinic today said he wanted his eyes checked because he couldnt read the small print in his Bible. The eye doctor had already left for the day and the only reading reading glasses available were 2.75 on up. I had him try the mine (1.5) and he said they were perfect...so, what did I do? I gave him my extra pair of reading glasses. The man was so sweet he didnt want to take my glasses, but with three women insisting he smiled and conceded. It feels good to give and to know he can now read his Bible.
