One of the more interesting things that Ive noticed while living abroad is the stark differences in the role of the media. In some countries, the news casters introduce a subject, relay the facts then move on to the next issue. In other places the news-outlets crowd the facts with skewed opinions and sway the public to deeply involve themselves in the divisive issue at hand. To compare and contrast the role of the media in various locations around the world, fellow blogger Gloria Atanmo reached out to 10 of her international friends who have been tuning into the coverage of the Ferguson case in their home countries.
