One of the most difficult things about being in school is that Ive had to drop out of pipe band for a while. Tomorrow I will not be able to wear a kilt, march, play and stand in silent reverence and thankfulness for the men and women that died so that I may live out my life in freedom in a free Country. With their sacrifice, I can believe in a loving God that I have chosen, go to school that I have chosen, to become what I have chosen to become. I will remember their sacrifice, just as a loving God sent His son Jesus to sacrifice His life for my freedom from sin and death. I will remember and give thanks for all of the freedoms that I have been blessed with. I will be playing my drum inside my heart and mind.
