One of the most disgusting images of 2014 was on a politics show - TopicsExpress

One of the most disgusting images of 2014 was on a politics show in mid-march, where Ed Balls and George Osborne were cavorting on a sofa, slapping each other on the back and laughing their heads off because theyd stuck it to Scotland over the currency union. Instead of that Balls as the Shadow chancellor and supposedly a Labour MP should have been challenging Osborne about his merciless plans to cut the deficit regardless of how much human suffering it caused, asking him over and over how much money if any the bedroom tax actually saved and how many people it was forcing into desperate straits and even suicide, asking him repeatedly whether he had any policies for growth in the UK economy, any policies at all to actually grow the economy rather than beat the poor with an increasingly big stick. That disgusting image seared into my brain shows there is no difference, no difference at all, between Westminster Conservative and Westminster Labour, and Scotland does not have its own Scottish Labour Party sending MPs to Westminster to represent Scotland with policies for Scotland, it only has a branch office of Labour supporting austerity, wanting to send MPs to Westminster to try to give Miliband and Balls a job to do the same. Well, no thanks. I want MPs that represent Scotland. - Peter Piper.
