One of the most famous examples of the clash between Christianity and science is the trial of Galileo Galilei. Galileo supported Copernicus view that the Earth orbited the sun, a heliocentric theory which the church declared contrary to Scripture. Galileo was warned to abandon his support for this theory and instead embrace the traditional geocentric notion that the Earth was an unmovable point; Psalms 93:1 KJV The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. around which the univenrse revolved. Quranic answer; Allah says in Holy Quran 21:33 And it is He who created the night and the day (night and day come because of movement of Earth on its axis *around sun*) and the sun and the moon; all [heavenly bodies] in an orbit are swimming. Who can mention it 1400 years ago , indeed it’s a clear sign that the Holy Quran is revealed by the Creator ‘’Allah’’ on his last Messenger ‘’Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)’’.
