One of the most frequently used catch phrases for Williamson - TopicsExpress

One of the most frequently used catch phrases for Williamson County candidates has been lower taxes and quality education. So far this year we have a 1200 student increase in enrollment. Schools, depending on grade level inclusion, are built for 800 to 1800 students, classrooms and commons area. School board members bring to their office a singular obligation to create and maintain an environment in which the highest level of instruction can function. County Commissioners usually come with education as the highest, but of course not singular mission. I am still not sure exactly what the role of a state legislature is related to public education. I do know that each legislature is elected to represented the parents and students in the district he or she is elected to represent. The dialogue of the most recent election was the competition for defining pure conservatism, opposition to Common Core State Standards, opposition to textbook content, and the presence of corporate and political action committees in local elections. I will be at Merridees this morning at 8:30 with a few people if anyone wants more conversation looking ahead to November 4.
