One of the most fun things I ever did was read to my sons every night before bed. Ill never forget reading the Hobbit and Trilogy (over and over) and look at those two bright, shining faces, with eyes wide open with wonder, utterly taken with the world we were experiencing. All lights were off except the reading lamp over my shoulder. I had a rocking chair, natch. I attribute their love of knowledge and wonder, and they both as men now have that in spades, to years of sitting together and reading and exploring mental worlds of infinite possibilities.
