One of the most fundamental & important teachings that a father can give a child is to show the utmost respect to his wife , the love should first manifest itself in this basic manner .. This includes the manner in which you speak to her , the tone , volume & off course good manners should be non-negotiable ... Growing up in an environment of balance , fairness & respect is the greatest gift that a child can receive . The ability to fly , jump off cliffs & truly achieve your potential .. These will flow naturally . To all the mommys out there , its just as much your responsibility to make sure that you are treated right , that you put your foot down if your not .. A child does not ask to be born & its not just food , shelter & paying for things that constitutes parental responsibility …its about genuine protection for starters .. Off course in a country where millions are born even without these basics , we are taught to feel grateful for everything & anything that comes our way ... There is always somebody much worse off than us but this kind of training in life , basis fear & insecurity only fuels violence & at best mediocrity ... A violent & mediocre society cant be very successful on any account . Comes down to sorting these basics at the fundamental unit - the family . Happy Fathers Day .
