One of the most important aspects of the Indian revolution is its development of women’s participation and leadership. Writing in her essay Walking With The Comrades, Arundhati Roy noted that the women’s revolutionary mass organization Krantikari Adivasi Mahila Sangathan (KAMS) “could well be the largest women’s organization in the country” with 90,000 enrolled members. Another key aspect is the revolution’s creation of a new embryonic model of people’s development deep inside the parts of the country where state authority is weakest, particularly among adivasis in the vast Dandakaranya forest zone. This includes the creation of people’s medical facilities, schools, and cooperatives. In opposition to the advancing revolutionary movement, the Indian state launched its Operation Green Hunt in 2009. Operation Green Hunt is a massive effort to drown the struggling Indian people with blood, significantly increasing the state and paramilitary repression of all progressive movements, not limited to the Maoist-led movement. People everywhere must condemn the moribund Indian state’s Operation Green Hunt and learn about the People’s War in India. thepeoplesvoicenewspaper.tumblr/post/54401387434/condemn-operation-green-hunt-learn-about-the-peoples
