One of the most powerful conversations Ive had with my mom, in terms of how I live my life, was the day I as a new mom to was telling (complaining?) about a friend I had who always seemed to be NOT busy. She seemed so much more peaceful, so much less frantic than I felt. My mom said, Well Lissy, she chooses not to be busy. She makes it a priority in her life. Whoa! That was a revelation to me - that my own choices lead to this chaotic BUSY lifestyle.
