One of the most repulsive features of televangelists other than lying to millions of impressionable viewers about reality, the way to think about others in society and who to vote for is the way they live. Mega churches with marble flooring, huge Jesus statues, and rock star preachers. I seem to get a lot of comments about how humble most Christian preachers are, but the truth is, the ones that own mega churches arent exactly scraping for pennies. Made me sad to walk in and see my mom watching these con artists on TV. We need to get these people off the air, out of the pulpit, and put a stop to this abuse of tax-free exemption. Every single church should be taxed, watched, and held to the exact same financial expectations as any business, no exceptions. Religion needs to be taxed, and made to pay.
