One of the most transformational CHANGE OF MIND I had was to learn not to see people or situations with a biased mind. Its very easy and logical to have a box where i put every action and judge people by these actions. And when someone do show a glimpse of these symptoms, I quickly open the box and put him/her there. And this looked very tactical and gave me reasons to give them label and criticize them. (Because I thought I was Mr. Observer). But as I became exposed to the Holy Bible and saw how Christ was so free with people regardless of their ethnic origin, tribe or nationality (what has become denomination and religious class today), i had to pause and rethink. This was also influenced as I travelled to different locations. (Lack of exposure can make one so sentimental and biased). And suddenly, It dawned on me that in every generalities, their can be exceptions.. That in every argument, there can be an another side....... That in every strategy, there can be another approach....... That among every class or group of people, there can be a standout.... And the is made me to free my mind from all LONG-HELD sentiments, bias and conclusions...... I shared this because, maybe you still struggle in your relationship with people because of how you have created this box unconsciously, you can delete those boxes and start learning to accept and treat people they way they are.........
