One of the new murals as part of Wonderwalls is truly wonderful. Apart from the great unfolding artistry and design, the sheer scale of it, covering the entire side of Port Adelaides biggest building (and one of the biggest outside the Adelaide CBD) is epic. And this stuff isnt just a flash in the pan, its a permanent investment in our citys design and image. As it is taking shape, it has already changed our geographical psychology. Visible from hundreds of metres away, the artwork is prominant in our city centre. After Allegoria Sacra, this is two pretty impressive art events to hit our city. So come and check out these huge painted murals (which are actually being completed all over Port Adelaide) during this weekend of festivities.
