One of the reasons I LOVE TOOL, is the spiritual aspect of the music, the metaphysical majesty. I think its because of this (tongue-in-cheek) seriousness, that they get unfairly labeled pretentious. Im gonna go out on a limb and say they are the ONLY band who could be considered mainstream that is bringing SPIRITUALITY to the masses. A spiritual person is in constant awe, he looks to the stars, he makes discoveries, asks questions and thinks inwardly toward himself and outwardly toward infinity. Religion is bullshit, so many and everyone thinks they have the right answer. They are all wrong. There is no answer. Faith will only supply you with piece of mind, which is fleeting. Only through a marriage of science and introspective conscious thought, can we solve the mysteries of the cosmos. Scientific experimentation, psychedelics, thinking and talking. Thats how were gonna get there. End rant. Spiral out...keep going...
